17:30-21:00 | (Hi)stories from the fairground: a game
Since the 19th century, funfairs have served as vibrant hubs of entertainment, offering a wide range of attractions from acrobatics and magic shows to displays of scientific knowledge and inventions. At the Schueberfouer, the oldest funfair in the city of Luxembourg, we invite you to take part in a competitive game that tracks the historical traces of the funfair's past. Games, by their very nature, engage participants and immerse them in an interactive experience. Working in teams, you'll go on a photo safari, hunt for clues and complete challenges. There will also be plenty of time to explore the fair at your own pace. The winning team will be announced on Friday during lunch hour. Shuttle buses will be organised.
Places limited, please subscribe at the registration desk.

17:15-21:30 | Feierôwend! Public History in Action
The closing “session” of the IFPH conference will take place off campus, in the central workshop of a former steel factory taken over by the collective FerroForum. You will experience public history in action through forms of creative reenactment, exchange with local “arti-vi-sts” in the field of industrial heritage and memory, and discover the largest and best-preserved industrial site of the region before its transformation into an “eco-neighborbood”. As last session of the IFPH conference, Feierôwend ! presents the rich potential of transdisciplinary collaborations between arti-vi-sts and researchers. It valorises the festive, social, and artistic life of factory workers, shedding light on less documented facets of the industrial past. Shuttle buses will be organised to and from Belval campus and the Ferroforum.
